The Norway trip was just over the top—between those beautiful mountains and all the fun things we got to do. I look at my pictures everyday. Torrill really planned an amazing week for us.

What a Joy
… What a joy the Norway trip was. I cannot thank you enough for your careful and thoughtful coordination with Torill. Every expectation was met or surpassed.
Knitting in Buffalo WY
What a great group!
I did thoroughly enjoy the entire week. What a great group of knitters! The location and activities were not only fun, informative, and well planned but also balanced with just the right amount of free time. Thank you for all your hard work to put together such good trips.
I Was So Impressed
Thank you, Susan, for getting all of us together. I was so impressed with the organization of the trip and how seamlessly Paige transitioned into leader [when Susan had a family emergency].
Full of Fun and Food
Thank you so much for all your efforts in making the Buffalo experience everything it could be and full of fun and food.
Thoroughly Enjoyed the Week
I thoroughly enjoyed the week and was excited to see the yarn we designed and dyed. Great group of knitters!
I Look Forward to More
Paige did a wonderful job and Tammy was there for every question and always helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed Wyoming, the locals, and of course the knitters. I look forward to more adventures with you in the future.
Calm and Warm Demeanor
I so appreciate your organization of a good experience and most of all your calm and warm demeanor. Your ease with the details of the week made it pleasurable. It is always comforting to know that someone is in charge and knows what is happening! The experiences at the mill were especially successful and instructive for me. I developed some knitting skills and more confidence to simply work on my own. Not that that is usually a problem for me—I am a pretty independent spirit—but the knitting challenge we were given was significant, and I am glad that with a little help I could work my way through it.
Knitting in Tuscany
Pasta and Olive Oil
Lucky me to have had the opportunity to go to Montisi with Susan several times. From Villa Magdalena, our home for the entire time, to meeting the local people, the delicious food, the wine, the olive oil, our side trips and our knitting, Susan has it all planned out so we can totally relax and have fun. Two of my favorite things are having cooking classes with Chef Alessandro, learning to make pasta from scratch, and going on a side trip to the olive oil factory seeing how the olives are pressed from start to finish. Montisi is a dream trip! Thank you Susan!
Mary Jane, 2008-2016
For several years I have had the opportunity to go to "magical" Montisi. I love everything about Knitting in Tuscany. Susan takes care of every detail and is always responsive to the needs and desires of the group. I have met many wonderful people and always look forward to the opportunity to stay in Villa Maddalena, view the beautiful surrounding countryside, eat the amazing food, taste the local olive oil, paint with Elizabeth Cochrane, visit with the locals, and of course drink the Tuscan wine.
Absolutely fabulous. Susan's planning and attention to detail makes sure that the trip is a huge success.
Graceful Professional Manner
Just wanted to thank you again for the lovely week. The setting is perfect but I am most impressed by the skillful way in which you manage these programs. I know very well what goes into the planning and execution of these adventures and you bring it off in a wonderful, graceful and professional manner. You make it all seem effortless when I know it's a lot of work and responsibility.

Knitting in Provence
Plenty of Wine
As the husband of a knitter who was along on the trip to Provence, I would go again on any future trips with Susan and Trips for Knitters. The event was very well organized and while we husbands had plenty of time to pursue our individual interests such as photography, painting, reading or just relaxing while the knitters were doing their knitting, Susan planned plenty of other activities that included the whole group. Susan researched out-of-the-way restaurants that showcased the local cuisine for lunches. We had two days of visits at the markets in Aix en Provence, a visit to and tasting (along with lunch!) at local vineyard, a visit to a lavender museum, all optional but I didn’t want to miss any of it. And, according to the knitter in the family, the knitting was exceptional, too. And of course, there was plenty of wine!
A Wonderful Organizer
I wanted to thank you for another wonderful and very memorable knitting experience. There were so many highlights—the setting, the other participants, the marvelous markets, the incredible food—both in the bastide courtesy of you and Devin and Maura but also the marvelous in-town lunches. You are a wonderful organizer and so very good at finding the best that an area has to offer. I feel very fortunate indeed to be able to reap the benefits of your enthusiasm for travel, thoughtful explorations and astute decision making.
